Isn’t it crazy how fast babies grow up? It honestly feels like it happens in the blink of an eye. They start out exploring the world with wide eyes and then before you know it – they are exploring the world with you chasing after them. I have been so blessed to be able to photograph Little Miss Alaina’s growth every month and it finally came time for her first birthday! As I reflect over all her different photo shoots I remember how tiny she was when her mom first brought her to me to start taking photos of her. I can’t believe how much she has grown since then!

As you can see from the above photo strip, Alaina has a lot of family that absolutely adores her. And how could you not with that sweet smile? She celebrated her birthday at the family Italian restaurant here in town, so there was an abundance of delicious food! That didn’t stop this adorable girl from getting her hands on the cake!

Surrounded by love, hugs, smiles and new toys, this little one had a fantastic birthday. As with all kids, the boxes the toys came in were a point of fascination before the toys were all built and out of their packaging!

Every time I see Alaina I jump and squee, because this little girl has a smile that truly brightens up your day. She has become so expressive and unique, I cannot wait until our next session!
