Hey guys! It’s been a very busy and beautiful summer here at my new home on the East Coast. I have been fortunate enough to have been invited out to shoot the very first showcase of the Singing Ladies of the ‘Burg! As soon as I walked in the door I could feel the energy and buzz in the room. I have no doubt that the upbeat feelings were being radiated from these beautiful ladies and the anticipation for them to hit the stage. Bethany started the night off with a great tale of how the Singing Ladies came to be. It was so nice to hear about a core group of women in the area who have banded together to produce such an open and creative project such as this.  It was a breath of fresh air for me, as I spent most of my time in Canada shooting bands and I was beginning to miss it! Bethany is a well-rounded and powerful musician. She started off the night singing tunes she wrote and it became very emotional. Her raw talent matches her outgoing personality and I feel truly blessed to have been a part of this night. She gave a well-balanced performance of song and tale and I can’t wait to get out to see her again! The Singing Ladies are made up of women with the same calibre of talent and I was thrilled every time they showcased themselves on the mic! They all have such amazing talent and are individually so unique and beautiful in their voice and stories. If you are ever in the area make sure you check them out!
